Fitzwilliam Darcy sees Elizabeth Bennet in Meryton and wants her for his own. At an Assembly Ball the next night, instead of insulting her, he compromises her. Caught in the act, he arrogantly takes charge of her and their wedding details.

I will not opine about the genre. I knew exactly what I was getting. Having said that, the author missed many opportunities. It would've been much hotter and much more believable if E had put up some kind of fight that first time. And if D had cared about her reputation and found ways to meet her in the woods or sneak into her house, that would've been hot and fun to read. And since the point of this genre is to describe sex, why not describe in much more detail what happened when they had sex the next dozen times? Even the description of that first time was somewhat vague. I think this author has yet to fully embrace this "dark side" of fan fiction. I do not think this was worth the money.

SPOILERT ALERT************ Do not read if you don't want some details revealed ***********

Mr. Darcy, the ultimate Alpha!!! He could not control himself around Elizabeth from their first time they me.? There was no indication of Elizabeth's consent when they have their first sexual encounter, I understand it was not against her will, but no comment or have a simple question raised before or after? Mr. Darcy was the Alpha that feels like he is always upset because anything has to be exactly his way. He eveh tells Mr. Bennet "she is mine now and will stay with me from now on".. Really? No question to Elizabeth?
This book was pure fantasy. It has the immediate attraction at first sight, however, I can't picture Mr.Darcy being as rash and bold and sexy as he was depicted in this book! Pure fantasy but absolutely loved it!
Please pardon me... but WTH!?

I have a BROAD taste in reading material. I love JAFF and I love erotica, but... NO, just NO!

Just bad on all accounts. I have no words.

( Read in November of 2015 )
This certainly isn't Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Neither of Austen's Darcy and Elizabeth would have acted this way, but Darcy knew what he wanted and without any hesitation took Elizabeth the night of the Meryton Assembly. Fortunately, they were discovered by Mrs. Bennet yelling "compromise." This is exactly what Darcy wanted - to have Elizabeth as his own. Shocking everyone at Netherfield, Darcy refused to let Elizabeth go to Longbourn. The next morning he arranged to have all of her stuff packed and sent to Netherfield. Good thing both of their minds were on the same desire - sex. Graphic novel.
It all happened really fast and very OCD. If you looking for something a little more wicked and a quick read then this is for you.
This is a short, charming erotic fantasy.for Pride and Prejudice fans. Darcy has never been more arrogant or compelling while intelligent and spirited Elizabeth falls under his thrall becoming "utterly" compromised and unable or unwilling to correct any faults in his behavior. I was disappointed this writer had given her no words and the expressiveness of a rag doll but realize it would take a longer work to achieve character realization. .However, the story still makes a fine guilty pleasure.

On the writing, I detected two sentences that should have been rewritten as they no sense. There was one amusing typo which had Elizabeth "writing (sic)" on the bed beneath Darcy.
This book gets a 2 and 1/2 star rating from me. I love Darcy and Elizabeth's tales of love told in various ways but had it not been labeled P&P variation with all the familiar characters I would not have recognized their story. That is truly the only thing that saved it for me. This book has a very new age mantality in which a couple just have sex before they've really talked. I really get annoyed by that approach but because I love their story I wanted to read. That is not to say I bought into it all. First it said what a gentleman Darcy is and, of course we all know this, and I can say I'm no prude and have no problem with a more passionate Darcy. Keep that in mind as I next tell you Darcy finds out from others of Lizzy's intellegence and fine manners. So here we are at the Meryton dance and instead of his famous declaration of, She is tolerable but not enough to tempt me," he sweeps her into a secluded room after their first dance. No words are spoken and the deed is completely commited. A man who prides himself on manners and respect and his vast estates future. The mistress of Pemberely would need to gazed upon with respect and her behavior would forever be under inspection. We are lead down this path where she is taken moments after introduction. Forget all you know of Lizzy's outspoken behavior because she exhibits no such characteristics in this read. Instead she is written as a mare in heat being lead not by her brains but hormones. I wanted to enjoy and would have had the author made just some tweaks. Like Lizzy and Darcy showing passion but not forming a friendship first. That mutual respect and understanding is so important and detrimental to a love match. Then there is Bingley are we really to believe that he would allow Darcy to have his way with Lizzy at Netherfield before they are married? He is so infatuated with Jane and to allow such things is so disrepectful toward her and the rest of their family. All of the Merton party is aware of what took place and an offer of marriage is put in place but it is also clear, Darcy makes it clear to Mr. Bennet that she is now his and will remain with him. Elizabeth shows no prior bond with her father or her dear Jane but is lead by her new lover which was just so out of character for her. No mind or opinion of her own. Those small details being written more to fit the Lizzy we know would have helped so much. Darcy would never want for his future wife and the mistress of Pemeberely to be exposed as a wanton even if there is a marriage in mind. What of Georgiana and her past? It's like her past with Wickham had never happened. Darcy's behavior it would definitely be thought of as Wickham like. Sure Darcy does not seek fortune but morality played such a big part of who he was. I did love the fact that the author openly states that Darcy was a celibate man and disciplined when it came to woman he was taught nthing but to repect them and the angle is that once he sees Lizzy he knows she is his future wife and follows through to ensure that nothing stops that from happening. If there was no prior attachment for me with this couple I probably would'nt have finished but I wanted to see how it ended. I also was not offended by the passion but did miss key elements to their characters so it started taking it's own thing. There was great passionate scenes but I was unconvinced of a love attachment. I believe in love at first sight but I need to see the couple form outside the bedroom as well as inside and because of the length it prohibited that from taking place. Lizzy is admired for her form and pleasure and not for her spirit and intellegence. Bingley defends Darcy to his sister by stating for her to get used to Darcy's activity with Elizabeth because he may soon be screwing Jane's brains out as well and then what would she do. This is said in front of Lizzy and all at the breakfast table. That I was offended by because they are spoke of as pleasure vessels not respect of them as ladies. I mean if my husband spoke of me in such a way I would cuff him upside his head and it's 2016. I Will definitely think twice before considering ever buying another book by this author.
